The Lymph Studio
Women's Lymphatic Health
Darwin

Care for every body
The Lymph Studio is a women's only specialist lymphatic health clinic.
Whether you're recovering from surgery, or heading into surgery, need to assess and track PWC for lymphoedema management, struggling with lipoedema or balancing life with chronic pain, Kate's home studio in Nakara is a special reprieve in a busy world.
What is lymphatic drainage?
Lymphatic drainage uses light, rhythmic strokes to encourage lymph fluid through your vessels and nodes — helping your body clear toxins, reduce fluid retention, and support your immune system. It also feels absolutely amazing.
Complex lymphatic therapy
Kate offers a range of support including:
-
lymphoedema - lymphatic drainage and tracking
-
lipeodema assessment and support
-
complex lymphatic therapy for post surgery and peri / menopause.
Kate's approach
Kate is a Certified Lymphoedema Practitioner (trained through the Australian Institute of Lymphoedema), holds a Diploma in Remedial Massage and is trained in Integrative Lymphatic Drainage® and McLauglin Scar Tissue Release, MSTR® methods. She provides structured, considered treatment — not just a light massage — and you can expect real health benefits.
Before you begin, Kate will walk you through the process so you know exactly what to expect and can fully relax into it.
The studio offers:
-
non-invasive hand-held lymphedema measurement and tracking using the LymphScanner
-
manual lymphatic drainage
-
Therapeutic Electrostatic Oscillation (TEO) - gentle, non-invasive technology that relieves pain, reduces swelling, and promotes faster healing through deep tissue vibration.
-
negatived pressure lymphatic drainage using leading technology, LymphaTouch®
-
TGA certified red-light & near infrared light to assist with inflammation
-
silicon and mobilization taping for scar support
-
Lymphoedema, lipoedema and CVI assessment to support a diagnosis discussion with your GP.
Lymphoedema support
Limb specific lymphatic therapy, compression wear fittings and ordering. Fluid tracking.
Lipoedema support
Assessment based on Lipoedema Australia's criteria.
Lymphatic drainage, compression wear fittings and ordering.
Scar tissue release
Scars from caesarean sections, knee and hip replacements, breast surgery, and abdominoplasty can restrict movement, cause discomfort, and affect sensation long after healing. Targeted scar tissue release massage can help soften adhesions, improve mobility, and restore feeling to the area.
Silicon and 6D tape available.
Peripheral Neuropathy massage
For the burning, tingling, and aching of nerve damage — particularly in the feet and lower legs — targeted massage can offer real relief by supporting circulation and calming the nervous system response. Kate uses magnesium based products to help nerve support - based on clinical evidence.
Pre & post surgery lymphatic support
Whether you're preparing for or recovering from surgery — including caesarean sections, joint replacements, and cosmetic procedures — this gentle lymphatic-based therapy supports your body before the surgery and helps it heal after.
Why Choose The Lymph Studio
Kate actively pursues continuing education and resources to bring current lymphatic drainage knowledge to the Northern Territory.
